Community Dining Program Nourishes MVS Students

MVS' new kitchen and dining hall are open in the Indira & BK Reddy Student Union!

The renovation introduces a professional-grade kitchen and bright new dining hall—both firsts in MVS history. Each school day, more than 500 students now enjoy fresh, made-from-scratch, healthy meals, strengthening community connection around the table.

“This is so much more than a kitchen,” said David Long, Head of School. “It is a place where students and faculty gather, where healthy meals nourish minds and bodies, and where community is strengthened daily. It reflects the kind of future we are building at MVS.”

While the first floor of the Reddy Student Union, which includes the dining facilities, is already bustling with energy, the second floor—housing an Innovation Suite, Student Commons, College Counseling Center, and Learning Support Suite—will open at the school’s gala on February 21, 2026. This event will serve as the official grand opening of the Indira and B.K. Reddy Student Union, showcasing MVS’ commitment to preparing students for success in college and beyond.

“The future of education at MVS is being built right now,” said Long. “We are grateful to everyone who has helped us reach this point and look forward to celebrating the grand opening with the entire community in February.”
